HDV Knife Gate Valve

HDV is a knife gate valve designed for difficult conditions of operation. It is distinguished by a wide range of applications in different industry branches. The valve ensures a free transfer of fluids and suspensions with a content of loose sludge, paper pulp, abrasives or other loose materials and solid components exceeding 5% and reaching 35%. A specially profiled cutting off member made of stainless steel is a characteristic feature of the HDV gate valve. A split housing with a clean out and no dead zones prevents solid materials from depositing inside the valve. A multilayer sealing pack seated in a pocket of the gland ensures optimum sealing as and a long lifetime. A sealing seat without hollows is reliably self-cleaned by the flowing medium. Use of a rising stem significantly reduces the torque necessary for operation of the fitting. A universal assembly for connection of a gate valve actuator allows one to easily apply any actuator without additional operations.
